Have you
been joining in on the fall fun at Bricks Studio? We saw some pretty pink
outfits during Pink Week, and some frightfully fun Halloween costumes as we
raised money for the Juvenile Diabetes Walk for a Cure. The studio also was
busy with a Tap Master Class from Jenefer Miller, Hip Hop Master classes from
H2M, and the Monster Mash Halloween Bash for our younger students.
The
Bricks Company dancers have also had a fall in and out of the studio. The
dancers recently performed at the Herberger Theater Festival and the Arizona
State Fair in October, and started November strong by dancing at the Juvenile
Diabetes Walk for a Cure.
Below are
some photos from our recent events, but you can see more on Facebook.

We recently interviewed Miss Beth to learn a
little more about her that you might not know.
Question: What is your favorite ice cream
flavor?
My Favorite ice cream flavor in mint chocolate chip.
Question: What is your favorite style of dance
and why?
My favorite dance style changes all the time but right now I
love ballet and contemporary. They are both so beautiful and challenging.
Question: If you weren’t dancing, what would
you do?
If I am not dancing I love spending time outdoors hiking, biking,
and running... I would also take more yoga classes.
Question: Who is your favorite dancer and why?
My favorite dancer is... Good ole Janet Jackson. Who
wouldn't love her? She was so intricate, smooth, and exciting to
watch. I still like YouTubing her old videos. Those were my
inspiration as a young girl.
Question: If you could dance anywhere for a day
where would it be?
If I could dance anywhere for a day it would be in a show
choreographed by Mia Michaels. Her choreography is so challenging
both mentally, emotionally, and physically. Plus they always have
fantastic costumes!
We also asked Miss Beth for her playlist picks and here they are:

Parents and students: Please make sure we are in class every week with all the necessary tool for success (proper shoes, proper attire, hair away from the face, ect. ect.) 'Cleaning' is a term used by many choreographers when the dance number is complete but needs a few tweeks to make it perfect. Please be sure you are in class for 'cleaning', as your spots and minor moves might change. Costumes are arriving everyday and will be given out closer to dress rehearsal.
Important Dates: Dress Rehearsal & Pictures: Monday, May 14th & Wednesday, May 16th 4pm-8pm (ask the front desk what time your class is supposed to be there)
