Follow The Leaders

I recently put together an exercise seminar for a group of 7 and 8 year olds. I needed to impress upon them that exercise is not only important … it’s a lot of fun too!

The more I thought about it, the more I realized kids already have the right idea about healthy living. Kids exercise all the time without even thinking about it. They spend their entire days seeking out activity. They run around outside, engage in playground games at school, dance, jump, laugh, sing, and simply MOVE all day. The best part: they’re having fun!

Next time you find yourself in a workout rut, head to the park. Watch, learn and follow along. Our kids can teach us a lot about staying fit!
